Factions — Bellato vs Cora vs Accretia

RF Online Next is built around a three-faction war. Each side wins the same fight in a different way — so the best pick is the war style you'll actually enjoy playing.

Quick answer

Pick your faction by the war style you enjoy, not by which is strongest — the three sides win the same war differently. Bellato lean on technology, Sacred Weapons and gear; Cora are force-magic users built around range, control and zoning; the Accretia are pure-machine and frontline-forward. None is strongest by design, and current-patch balance plus server population swing wars as much as faction identity does — so check which side is healthy on your server before you commit.

Three factions, three identities

The whole game orbits a three-sided war. The factions aren't reskins of each other — each has a distinct identity that shapes how it fights, drawn from the franchise's long-standing design.

Technology & mechs

Bellato Union

Equipment-forward and tech-driven, the Bellato lean into Sacred Weapons and gear. A coordinated, hardware-heavy way to fight.

Force & summons

Holy Alliance of Cora

Magic-leaning force users built around range, control, and zoning. They shape the battlefield instead of just charging it.

Pure machine

Accretian Empire

A race of pure machines — durable, aggressive, and frontline-forward. Built for players who want to be at the tip of the spear.

Which side fits you

There's no universally "correct" faction — pick the one whose war style you enjoy, because you'll spend most of your time inside it.

FactionWar identityBest for the player who…
Bellato Union Technology and mechs; equipment-forward, leans into Sacred Weapons. …likes coordinated, gear-and-mech-driven pushes.
Holy Alliance of Cora Force and summons; magic-leaning range, control, and zoning. …wants to control space and disrupt from range.
Accretian Empire Pure machine; durable, aggressive, frontline-forward. …wants to be aggressive and lead the charge.

Confirm in-game Current-patch balance and server population matter as much as identity on paper — and population can decide a war on its own. Check both in-game before you commit.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change my faction later?
Treat your faction as a long-term commitment for that character — it shapes your entire war experience. Whether RF Online Next allows a faction switch after creation isn’t confirmed at launch; confirm in-game before you commit.
Which faction is the strongest?
None by design. Bellato, Cora and Accretia are built to win the same three-sided war in different ways, not to out-stat one another. Patch balance and server population decide fights more than faction identity.
Which faction is best for beginners?
There isn’t a beginner-only faction. Pick the war style you’ll enjoy spending hours inside — Accretia frontline aggression, Bellato tech and Sacred Weapons, or Cora control and zoning — and weigh which side has healthy population on your server.
Can the three factions form alliances?
No. RF Online Next is a three-way war: each faction fights the other two over Holy Stone resources. Temporary battlefield truces happen in practice, but there’s no formal alliance system — confirm current-patch rules in-game.

How we built this

Roles here are drawn from each faction’s verified in-game kit and cross-checked against our flagship Mining War guide. Names and rankings the launch meta hasn’t settled are labelled provisional — only Demolisher is firmly confirmed among the suit names. We don’t publish numbers (costs, cooldowns, tier scores) we can’t verify. Independent fan site, not affiliated with Netmarble.
