New to RF Online Next?

RF Online Next is Netmarble’s free-to-play sci-fi MMORPG built around a three-faction war. It’s classless — the Biosuit system lets you swap combat roles mid-fight — and the endgame is the Mining War, a 450-player fight over the Holy Stone. These guides commit to a clear answer and label anything the launch meta hasn’t settled, instead of hedging.

Frequently asked questions

Is RF Online Next free to play?
Yes. RF Online Next is free to download and play on PC (via the Epic Games Store and the Netmarble Launcher) and on mobile (iOS and Android). It runs a cash shop on top of that free base.
Is RF Online Next pay-to-win?
It's debated this early. The game is free with a cash shop; whether that tips into pay-to-win depends on how Sacred Weapon and gear progression monetize, which isn't settled at launch. We'll commit a verdict once the endgame economy stabilizes — confirm the current shop in-game.
What's the difference between the Mining War and the Chip War?
They are the same battle. "Mining War" is Netmarble's official name for the large-scale faction fight over Holy Stone resources; "Chip War" is the community term carried over from the original RF Online, where factions fought for the Control Chip.
Which faction should I pick?
Pick by the war style you enjoy, not by power — the three factions win the same war differently. Bellato lean on technology and Sacred Weapons, Cora on force-magic control and zoning, and Accretia on pure-machine frontline aggression. None is strongest by design.
Is there a single best biosuit?
No. The game is classless: you swap biosuits mid-combat and your skill levels carry across them, so role coverage beats picking one "best" suit. Build a frontline anchor, a node-artillery suit, and a burst pick instead.
